This hotel is tucked away in the back of this tree lined road. Safe, quiet location. We only stayed a night, but it was the easiest check in/out we’ve ever gone through. I would recommend and come back to this hotel. We had a small breakfast there the day we were leaving and the attendant serving the guests was very kind and patient. Husband said she made the best coffee too! ?

Came in for the Taylor Swift concert. My card had 3 different charged of amounts on it. I went to the front desk to just understand, wanting to make sure that it was an error and could be fixed. The auditor, as she identified herself, told me the charge wasn’t real because she couldn’t see it and to call my bank. Latoya, I believe actually listened to me and called the manager to try to find the answer. She was amazing. I still don’t know why my card was charged 3 times, but the manager told her it should fall off and I trust her.

The auditor really needs to listen and understand.

Stayed here for The Eras Tour concert and was pleasantly surprised, staff was friendly and lobby had a Starbucks. I will say the restrooms are needing some renovations. Our room had a balcony which was nice.

We were close to many restaurants and convenience stores. I recommend stopping by Crazy Pig. The hotel was 45 min away from the Caesar Superdome, would recommend.

Positive: Lovely appointed rooms. Well kept hotel. I?m very pleased when I get a room with a balcony or patio! Negative: The light over the vanity mirrors at this hotel is much too dim. It?s difficult to put on makeup properly. Also, there was no exterior light at the exit door from the adjoining section where I stayed to the main/front parking lot. Not safe after dark.

Grungy - This isn’t the worst but it’s overdue for a remodel and seemingly falling apart. From the weird smells, the big in my room and the noises the elevator made to the need-a-renovation room, this was likely my least comfortable stay at a Marriott property. Staff was nice but the place itself needs TLC. I arranged for all of my coworkers to stay here for a work trip and I’m a little embarrassed. Photos include: wall near the window deteriorating, bed, grungy bathroom, bathroom tile separating from the wall, hair stuck in the art in the bathroom.

Hotel front desk staff, who check my husband and I into our room, were nice. The room was clean. We were very disappointed in the cleaning service. When we checked into our hotel on Thursday evening, we were told the hotel room is cleaned every other day. No problem from us there. Our room was not serviced on Saturday. Trash cans in our room were all overfilling, bed had not been made yet, and the biggest issue we had is we did not receive fresh towels until I had to beg for some. On Sunday morning, I had to walk out of my room in my pajamas and walked down the hallway to ask the cleaning lady for fresh towels because we hadn't received any since the beginning of our stay. She then proceeded to get frustrated at me and explained the cleaning service is every other day. I then had to explain to her we checked in Thursday evening and by that morning (Sunday) we still had not had our room serviced or received any fresh towels. It was clear that the hotel was not keeping track correctly on us as guests and our duration of stay there. When we went down to the front desk that Sunday afternoon, we asked if our hotel room could be serviced. Front desk then explained they had a high turnover that day and again explained the cleaning service being every other day. Again, they were not paying attention to how long we had already been staying at the hotel. It's clear their staff does not communicate with each other and seem to be having staffing issues.

Gold Elite member since 2000. This hotel stay was by far our worst. The rooms were musty with a strong room spray pumping out. If that wasn't bad enough, the smell of weed was overpowering from the stairwell to the second floor where our rooms were, all day and night. We had to put a bath towel at the bottom of the door to try and keep that smell to a minimum. Bathroom door wouldn't close, and just overall filthy and dated. We were in Covington for a wedding, and some of my family stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street with no problems at all.

Booked a 3 night stay 4/11/24 to 4/14/24, in Room 111. Took showers to clean up when we arrived on Thursday. And again on Friday AM before we left. When we got back to the room Friday PM, we had no housekeeping and no clean towels. Complained to the front desk and we were told "Today is not your housekeeping day. The staff has gone home. They will clean your room tomorrow." Saturday AM we took showers again and used our wet towels. When we got back to the room Saturday PM, we had no housekeeping and no clean towels again. We complained again to the front desk. Again we were told "Today is not your housekeeping day. They will clean your room tomorrow." Next day was our check-out day. We had no clean towels. On check-out, I complained that we had no housekeeping for our 3 night stay. Clerk (no name tag) apologized and offered to add points to our Bonvoy account. Today is 4/23/24. That never happened. Do not expect housekeeping service at this Courtyard location. Should not be called a Marriott.
