My stay at the Holiday Inn Express Fort Lauderdale Cruise Airport was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable, with staff members providing warm and attentive hospitality. The hotel itself maintains a high standard of cleanliness that could be seen in both the public areas and the private rooms. The accommodations were not only comfortable but also well-equipped, offering modern amenities that cater to every need. The beds were especially comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The proximity to the airport also added a layer of convenience for travel. Overall, this hotel excels in every category, from customer service to comfort and cleanliness, making it a fantastic choice for travelers in the Fort Lauderdale area. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay near the airport.

I was warmly greeted by "Cary" like "Cary Grant". Front desk was very accommodating to a customer service issue I had. The room was modern & clean. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The location was excellent for cruise departures. Nearby were assorted restaurants and stores for last minute shopping. Even a US Post office. I recommend this property.

Reserved a room for a vacation at the cruise port. Super happy with the hotel accommodation for our bags since we arrived very early. Unfortunately the lobby doesn’t have enough space to accommodate early guests. I felt like the staff was overwhelmed by the amount of guests and their early arrival. Don’t expect an early checkin option either. The hotel does offer a shuttle to the port terminals, but it is at an additional fee. I kind of expected it to be similar to an airport shuttle service. There are some places to eat within walking distance.

AVOID. Airline cancelled our flight and put us up in this hotel (have email confirmation proof from airline that hotel is covered and confirmation number). Check-in was fine. Service wasn't super friendly, but not the worst I've had. We jokingly said 'We'd like the best room for the value please', he said he'd give us the nicest room allowable. The room overlooked a sewage treatment plant. We had to laugh. Whatever, it's just for the night. Amenities were fine, though the hotel is very basic and run down in some areas. We checked out the next morning without issue (or so it seemed). Front desk said we'd be getting our deposit back in a few days. My travel partner checked her credit card statement a few days after coming home, and they charged her for the entire stay including the deposit. She has tried calling multiple people at the Holiday Inn regarding this and the last communication she had was 'we have no record of this', despite us having physical proof from the airline, which we had to provide to check in in the first place, and there was NO mention of ANY balance nor was there any receipt given upon check out. Total fraud. My travel partner will be initiating a chargeback on her credit card. We are travel agents and have stayed in hotels everywhere, but we cannot recommend this hotel nor will we be sending our clients there.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 2 nights before a cruise. We arrived in the morning before a room was available and the front desk person, Ruben was very helpful. He gave us a list of restaurants, stored our luggage and called us well before regular check in time to say our room was ready. ||Also an employee named Vesna was very helpful with calling a taxi for us. We felt like she truly cared about helping us with whatever we needed.||When we got settled in our room we had some difficulty with our television; we contacted Ruben and an employee named Terrence came in 5 minutes and helped us with the tv. He was also efficient and very pleasant. ||We also liked our room; the bed was comfortable and the bathroom very spacious. Overall we had a pleasant stay here and would return.

Good location for the one night before boarding the cruise.||Only a few minutes drive from the cruise port. ||Check in was easy they held our bags while we took the hire car back.||Staff friendly at reception & breakfast|Easy free parking some undercover as well.||Free breakfast was good plenty of options.||King suite had |Good size|Fridge |Decent size bathroom |TV|WiFi ||Few restaurants / take away options close by. Walgreens a 3 minute walk away. |Easy to get an Uber to the port .||Cost to go to cruise port they were charging $15 a person which is quite expensive. Cheaper to take an Uber.

My spouse and I were getting ready to embark on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale in August 2024 and spent a Saturday night at this Holiday Inn Express. We had picked up a shuttle to this hotel from the airport, which was very convenient. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon on the Saturday.||Our check-in process took a bit longer than we'd expected, but our room (#536) was clean and comfortable. There was something strange about the electrical wiring in our room because the light switches in the main room and bathroom seemed off a bit from what we'd expected.||This property has an outdoor pool that we didn't use, but we had a nice view of it from our room.||We had breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning before we checked out of the hotel, and that was decent.||Overall, our stay was rather pleasant, and we slept quite well. We didn't have any major issues at all.

Upon checking in I met Fredericka & Ricardo. I must say Fredericka was so nice, easygoing & professional, next to her was Ricardo, I must give this hotel a very high rating, I have been through so much stress, but seeing my room and the friendly staff it really made such a big difference. Room was/is emaculate, everything is heartwarming, I purposely booked this hotel as I have stayed here before, I remember it being so clean & I felt safe. I recommend this hotel very highly....shall I add I grew up in the hospitality business. Sincerely, Donna
