I had a short stay but it was lovely and perfect. Lena was great checking in and Carlos was wonderful at valet! I would definitely stay here again. Valet was very convenient. I was able to request my vehicle from my phone so that it was ready for me downstairs. The view from my room was gorgeous and having the beach close by was the best.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was okay, but there was no microwave. The view was great. The bathroom counter needs some attention and shoring up. The ice machine on the 5th floor worked, but the grate that would hold the ice bucket is non-existent and needs to be repaired. Experience would have been better if not for our loud neighbors next door and the $52/ night valet charge and the pool, gym, and bar renovations. Definitely not the Marriott Experience we expected.

This has been a great stay! Melissa made sure that my accommodations were top tier! She also gave me great information about the area and helped me navigate the potential weather emergency. When I arrived to the hotel there were 2 other staff members at the desk with Melissa. They both had big smiles and were so polite! I was a little bummed that the hotel was under remodel, so the gym and pool were unavailable, but understandable. There wasn’t any loud noise from the construction so that was good. In all I look forward to coming back and will stay here again

This hotel was such a disappointment. I realize they are under construction and some things can’t be helped but even the basics were lacking. I’ve never experienced a poorer night’s sleep. The pillows are AWFUL! There is no hotel bar - what hotel at this level doesn’t have a bar? The valet is $52 a night plus tax. The rooms are so old and outdated. Do not recommend. Oh and during college football season you couldn’t get ABC to see the number 1 team play. 0/5 stars

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Knowledgeable, professional and extremely welcoming. From the valet service through concierge to the front desk the customer service was five star. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing renovations and during the day our room on the fifth floor was quite noisy. This did not detract from the overall experience. Lena at the front desk was so helpful upon our arrival and she went the extra mile. This applies to the entire staff we came in contact with. Excellent service and welcoming staff.

Only negative is room doors are not that sound proof so hall noise (…yep…2 AM Friday night) is a bit over the top. Other than that, from the location, the customer service and the overall experience….highly recommend.

We evacuated from Sarasota here and lucky to get a room. It was a cheaply updated room. The hotel is old and half is updated. The staff are wonderful, friendly, responsive. Excellent at what they do. The pillows are knotted, cheap and flat. Bring your own pillow. The grounds have trash and litter around it, the neighborhood is sketchy and unkept. The rooms have thin walls you can hear everything making sleeping in the middle of the night unbearable. They clean your room on the 3rd night. Seems lengthy. Disapointed for a Mariott and this is in the category of a Motel.

Feeling very annoyed and disappointed with Marriott!!!!

Staying at this property, and there’s no water! Can’t shower after the beach!!!
I’ve worked on these hotels and any time we had to shut down utilities, it was done overnight when it had least amount of impact on guests!!
Front desk was useless, and all they can say it will be back in at 4:00! To me that means this was a scheduled shutdown without notifying all guests!!!
Horrible service in a great location!!!
