This was a Halloween trip from Michigan. We are on a budget and it worked out so well. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For a “motel” I’m rather pleased. Checking in was so fast and easy and the lady answered all my questions about safety. It wasn’t loud at all, yes there was people partying the first night… no biggie, they didn’t bother us. Keep in mind this location is where I10 and I59 connect, it’s also trucker territory. But this facility was very clean! NO BUGS AT ALL! I will stay here again.

I checked in around 1:00 a.m. November 2nd 2024 I go to my room open the door it's extremely cold from the AC blasting and there's a smell I turned the AC off left got food came back the front desk lady and her boyfriend are walking outside. I walked in my room there's a mold mildew musty smell (i assume they attempt to hide the mold smell with the ac blowing) . I turn on the heat because it was still pretty cold from when I first walked in earlier got in the shower got out the shower and the smell from the AC unit got worse. I contacted front desk she tells me she can't leave the front desk (even though she was just hanging outside) so shes going to send her boyfriend I asked if she could come with him because I didn't feel comfortable she told me no.. he comes to the room he acts like he cannot smell the smell that I am smelling he looks at me and tells me "I'll let them know and we will see what we can do" I went downstairs spoke to the lady and got no resolutions. I didn't think to look at the reviews of the hotel before I booked and I'm seeing other people that complained about a smell. She also expressed that her perks for working at the hotel is that she can wash her clothes on the property for free that's why she was outside and that she didn't come to my room because she didn't feel safe and when I expressed to her I didn't feel safe with her boyfriend coming to my room she just looked at me as if she didn't care *I had my mase in my hand the whole time, that's how uncomfortable I was * is her boyfriend even an employee ..
I'm from Georgia and I don't know how things go down here but none of this is OK
The conversation should be recorded from the front desk cameras if they really work this is something that should be looked into
I will be contacting home office or some upper management because there was no accommodations made for the issues at all the front desk receptionist lacks in problem solving communication and integrity very unprofessional

We stayed here for a Halloween vacation. The price was right. This is a MOTEL so don't expect anything fancy. When booking here remember it's centrally located where I59 and I10 intersect, so yes very busy. This is also trucker territory with several truck stops around. Check in was the easiest I've ever experienced and the front desk lady was very nice, helpful and answered all my questions truthfully. The room was as expected, just a room. The first thing I checked when walking in the room and turning the lights on was anything scurrying, the second thing I checked was under the sheets and blankets..... ABSOLUTELY ZERO BUGS! We had a smoking room so I wasn't surprised to find a couple burn holes in the blankets. The third day our key cards quit working. The front desk guy was very helpful and even cracked jokes. I opted out of any housekeeping because we like our privacy. I ran out of TP and housekeeping had no problem giving me a couple more rolls. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything you need or even want. If your traveling on a budget and don't expect anything fancy I HIGHLY recommend staying here. I WILL be staying here again. The only thing I would recommend to the property management is to upgrade the mini fridge and make the tv picture fit the screen. Otherwise perfect and Pleasant stay.

The young lady at the desk was very polite, the price was very reasonable, the location was good, although the area is a bit rundown. The room had a very strong odor of a musky, mildew smell. It was very damp and hot with the AC set high, which made it worse. The dude who paced the parking lot staring us down as we went from our car to the room was very obvious and sketchy. I understand checking numbers of those entering, but cameras would be much more discreet and the lady who signaled him from the office should be also. There was no threshold under the door, could clearly see and hear the outside. We were very tired from traveling and made a quick reservation or I would have driven on.....,. I advise others to drive on.

The rooms had mold in places. One room had what looked like beard or pubic hair in the sink and men’s boxer briefs hanging from the shower rod. The remote didn’t work and one room smelled strongly of old beer. The towels looked dirty as well as the shower head in the second room we stayed in. Our original booking was messed up and never satisfied properly. When we got there, we walked past a man peeing out off the area in front of his room. The next morning the man next door was screaming profanity from his shower. I’d say definitely not a good choice.

Positive: "" Negative: The young lady behind the desk gave me a key to somebody else?s room this day and age. I could?ve been shot when I walked in. Location at this hotel is really offset and set back. Head stains on the sheets.Just wasn?t the best experience.

We enjoyed our room. For the price it was totally worth it. It was clean and spacious. The bed wasn’t too bad either, comfort wise. The sheets were clean and soft. The guy that checked us in was very nice. We would stay here again!

Not the best days inn....but it was awesome because it was just off the freeway. The Guy who checked me in was awesome and explained everything to me. I would definitely stay here again....I did see a couple of working girls but they never approached me or anything... good overall stay
