Econo Lodge Buffalo South

I recently stayed at this motel for 2 nights in June. While the front desk staff was friendly, they failed to mention the breakfast and checkout processes unless I asked. The bed was lumpy, which could be a concern for those with back pain. Additionally, I experienced continuous banging from the room above mine around 11:45 pm, when i am in the shower and around 1 AM while I was asleep which was disruptive. On the positive side, the front door of the room was sturdy, and I felt secure. The room also had a safe, which I appreciated and used during my stay (for an extra fee). The sheets were fresh and clean when I arrived. Washroom is ok not bad!! Sink is clean. However, the breakfast was minimal, consisting of just a few cookies and coffee. The motel is old, but it's a strictly OK place to crash for a few hours if you're visiting Niagara Falls (about a 45-minute drive away). Check-out was quick and easy. Overall, I'd rate this place 2.75/5. You get what you pay for, and while it's not the best, it's an affordable option for a short stay.

I stay in this hotel for business often. Very clean rooms with hardwood floors. Do not let the outside appearance deter you from staying there. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, with lots of food and shopping near by.

Precio asequible. Habitación con lo necesario, sin grandes pretensiones. Ruido de alguna máquina cerca de la habitación que me tocó. Ubicación apartada, pero con un restaurante justo enfrente, y a una distancia cercana al estadio de los Bills (a un paseo de más de media hora).

Скромненько и чистенько. Так как это мотель, были ожидания хуже. Необходимо было переночевать, бронировали вечером, непосредственно перед заселением. Смогли выспаться и передохнуть от дороги. Кровати не Кинг сайз, но вполне большие. Удивила планировка установления смежной двери на туалет/ душевую и умывальную зону, есть скрытая зона для чемоданов и гардероб. Из приборов- микроволновка кофемашинка и холодильник. Персонал участлив. Рядом много кафе и ресторанов.

Front desk staff was pleasant to deal with, breakfast was very minimal. The rooms are older with updated flooring, the exterior of the place is quite rustic. The mattress in my room was very old, worn out and lumpy. For the price, it seems as though you should be able to do better.

***Hidden charges of $50 - Not disclosed when booking online. - Not disclosed at time of physical check-in at location. - Check in clerk does not mention the $50. - At check-in, clerk gives an A4 sheet of paper with Room charge but no mention of $50 - Guests blindly tap/swipe credit card with nothing on the screen. - POINT OF SALE CARD READER IS BLANK - NOT EVEN ROOM CHARGE AMOUNT IS SHOWN - If guests does not have 'instant notifications' set on credit card, in which amount may show up on phone, they may discover additional $50 charge when credit statement is issued, long after the fact, due to 'non-disclosure' by Econo Lodge staff and online portal. - In our case we received a notification on the phone. - When we questioned the check in clerk, he said that it is a charge (hold) in case something is broken in the room and that it will be returned in about 10 days time. - Posed the same question to a different clerk at front desk, she said it will be refunded to the card the very day we check out. - Neither has taken place yet. - Still waiting for the refund. BEAWARE - We had 3 rooms, the A/C did not work in any of them.

Positive: Nothing Negative: It was a disaster, I was loosing my money. I paid for 3 nights, but I only stayed for 2. My back hurts with the bed, the room unclean, and smell. Never again.
