We probably caught them on a bad weekend. The staff was stressed and not very welcoming. We arrived at 3:30 on a Friday and our room was not ready. Once we got in the room, we discovered that there was no air conditioning in the building. Thankfully it wasn't too hot, but it was very uncomfortable. We had planned on sleeping in and taking our time to check out, but left at 7 AM from the heat. When I went to check out, there was a note with a phone number to call, the front desk and breakfast area didn't have a staff member. I know the reviews for the hotel are decent, but our experience was not good. Definitely not worth the money.

I have stayed at the Liberty Hotel in Cleburne approx. 5 times, 4 of those visits were 4-5 years ago when the hotel was managed by Nathan. Those visits were fabulous, the hotel rooms were spotless and comfortable. I recently stayed again last month. I was greeted at the front desk by a gentleman who appeared completely uninterested and annoyed that I was checking in. I inquired then about Nathan, the hotel clerk informed me that the hotel was recently sold. My room was not like I remembered my previous stays. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, the shower and shower curtain were a bit gross. So needless to say, for my future visits I will not be staying at the Liberty.

I was at a party at the hotel last night and I was very disgusted.
Bathrooms were disgusting I went into the men's bathroom no toilet paper, no napkins, no soap and the urinerals was disgusting looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks.
Lobby floors were filthy staff was horrible. Did not do nothing for us. Heard Christy left very disappointing. She was the best one up there. If paid more for what she does she would probably come back and get this up and running right.
This women deserves a 17 raise to me. Without her there running it I will never go back. Rooms were not ready and disgusting. But front desk was worse we had to take our own trash out

We had an absolutely miserable night here. AC was out when we checked in, but staff said they were working on it. When we returned from our event that night, AC was still out. No windows can open, so the hotel was unbearable, even though it was a nice, cool night out. Room was terribly uncomfortable, even after buying our own fans at the local Walmart.

My wife and daughter stayed here and loved it! The attention to detail was amazing. The staircase was gorgeous! They were put in a handicap room which is fine and they said the bathroom was huge! Everything was super clean and they held their attention to historical detail yet also had modern amenities. Overall they loved it so much. 5 of 5 stars.

Bad things - very minor. They said breakfast was super basic. And the water smells like dirt right when it turned on. And the water pressure wasn't that great.

Pulled in and online showed rooms available for $85. Front desk told me lowest they had was $100 per night. Not a big deal, technology can be wrong. Upstairs the accommodations are adequate, not amazing, but I’m not exactly paying for amazing, am I? No refrigerator in room. All your other normal room amenities are there though. I guess no big deal.
Then I slept in the bed. Squeaky, loud, and hard. Looks like a solid bed, but looks were deceiving.
Fitness room was adequate, no broken machines, which is a plus. One towel for me and now they’re out of towels. This was 530 am on a Tuesday.
Go down for breakfast. Looks being deceiving again, looks standard. But the coffee dispenser, the only coffee dispenser, is broken. I tell the staff, they’re apologetic but offer no other alternatives. I can’t even unscrew the top and pour coffee Ok. There’s a Keurig with no available pods. Lose again.
Pool area outside looks well kept. I peek, and no lounge chairs. I inquire about getting one. Same type of answer. Sorry, but can’t help you. So if I want to go relax outside, I can sit upright in the available wrought iron regular chairs, no laying down. Sweet.
The hotel has been renovated and they did a great job. But service and attention to detail have been forgotten. For the same environment, go to a cheaper hotel and save your money.

Das Zimmer wurde 5 Tage lang nicht gereinigt oder die Betten gemacht. 3 Tage ohne Klimaanlage. 1 Tag kein warmes Wasser. Fürchterliches Frühstück. Nie wieder!!!!!!

We loved our stay at the Liberty Hotel. Cozy room and comfortable bed. Very nice continental breakfast. We will definitely be staying again. All the rooms have showers. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our visit.
