Hotel is in a good location within walking distance to the Brand Ave restaurants. Must cross over highway to get to restaurants so be careful to follow crosswalk signs as safety is an issue. Room was large and clean with good amenities. Breakfast was great and well organized. Front desk agent I dealt with was average and somewhat on the rude side but no major issue there. No recognition of lifetime loyalty status. Room furniture was a bit dated but still in acceptable condition. Bed pillows terrible but bed was fine. I would stay here again if needing the extra space, else would try somewhere else.

My son and I stayed one night, I was visiting the doctor the next day and I was a mess. I forgot our duffle with all our things at home. Thankfully, the front desk has toothbrushes and toothpaste. However, the rooms no longer have toiletries, which was disappointing. When we went to bed, my son felt something on his leg, when he showed me, it was a gooey aluminum seal, like the ones found on top of bottles with gels or liquids. That was incredibly gross because of the location (between the sheets) and because the goo made it stick to my son's leg. Cleanliness is important, especially after COVID, yet I keep having this issue with Hilton brand hotels. Are the staff not changing sheets if they look good to them? I will not be returning.

The location of the Embassy is in a great location close to the Glendale mall, they cater you well there & have many activities for you to do in side the hotel. I enjoyed my moments there, I did have issues with the parking lot & when I stayed in my room my television was cracked & no one ever came to change it out or check up on it. Other than that I loved the location of the hotel.

So we’ve been staying at this hotel since 2015, and honestly, I can’t not be a bit biased, but for the most part this how me and MY families experiences have been (our longest has been 2 and half months so trust me on this).
So for almost 10 years we’ve absolutely loved this place, we started staying here because it was the closest place to my uncles house, but regardless of that, there is absolutely ever single fancy restaurant, fast food chain, park, basketball courts, clothing store etc. that you can imagine within a MAXIMUM of 30 minutes walking distance from the hotel, so in terms of location, it is perfect, jackpot.
In terms of stay, I do have to admit my dad is a diamond member so we did get “benefits,”, however, funny enough, we have stayed in all the types, and the one looking towards the inside of the hotel is obviously the most…soulless, just because, one doesn’t get natural sunlight, however, it was still great, the beds and everything were the same quality as the corner suites, so I have no complaints there.
Food, I cannot begin to express how great the chefs are, they load up your omelette and end your craving for a good 5 years, but jokes aside, they can make you anything you want, it’s always consistent, I never once had “anything bad” happen to my food, nor do I have any bad experiences, even during COVID, they tried to do the most that they could and maximized the amount of food that they give to each person, we’’ve never ordered anything for them to bring to our rooms, however, whenever we’ve ate at the “lobby restaurant” it’s been delicious, but since it’s a hotel, the prices are…you know.
The gym and pool are both great, there’s even a jacuzzi so you know your expectations are gonna be met; the gym has a water dispenser, it’s always worked perfectly, the equipment works well too, so no complaints there. The happy hours are brilliant, every day (for the most part) there are different foods (the I think pita bread, and green something sauce is delicious), and every single bartender is super nice.
If I want to talk about what is “bad,” the only real complaint is the fact that almost none of the housekeepers speak English, and not that it’s terrible, but at the very least one would expect them to be able to communicate very simple ideas without needing to play pantomime, so I wish they were taught very common sentences so it’d be beneficial for themselves (since it’s the “universal language” of the world so knowing it will only help them) and make a better experience for the guests. Most people are patient, and someone like me even knows Spanish, but in the unfortunate event of someone being in a hurry or not being very patient, it’d just be good to know the language.
However, as stated, we’ve never had any problems communicating, other staff have also been super kind, especially the woman who’s always there at the breakfast area and writes down the room numbers (she wears glasses), unfortunately I can’t remember her name, and also the chef that’s fairly tall and darker skinned, always asks guests how they’re doing as is super polite.
Ultimately, in MY personal opinion this is a great place to stay, both for business and vacation (especially in comparison to the Hilton in the street above), if one is here to visit the country there is all sorts pf tourist attractions around and public transport (is bad in LA in general, but at the very least) is acceptable here. Definitely would recommend.

P.S. fun fact, with this last stay at the hotel, my dad finally became a lifetime diamond Hilton member.

This hotel looks nice on the outside but the rooms are super grimy and dated. Apparently the hotel is met with bed bug incidents all the time. I got several bites and managed to catch several of them and present them (crushed with my blood in the photos) to the front desk to only be met with the worst service ever. I will not let go of this experience until health/ gov. departments are notified.

We had a wonderful stay at this Embassy Suites. Conveniently located near a freeway. This was helpful for families going to local attractions like Universal Studios. The check in process was flawless. The morning breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and the mattress was very comfortable. It looks like they are getting ready for renovations. During our stay we saw a lot of new rolls of new carpeting being brought onto the property.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My room was very big, had a lot of storage, and the bed was comfy. The best perk of being here is the hot breakfast! the egg station is unforgettable.

This is the place to stay while traveling with children. The area is convenient and appears safe. Parking is great, it is an additional $27 per night but worth it. The breakfast is one of the best we've experienced at a hotel, and it is free. Starbucks drip coffee is also a plus. Staff is great. Room is good. We will stay here again!
