This place smell like they have doused everything in perfume to the point you can taste it. Anyone sensitive to smells should NOT stay here. It triggered a headache for me. It’s a nice hotel in a good location but the perfume smell is too much.

The service from the reception was great. Smooth and easy check-in. The room was nice and clean. The area around the hotel is really quiet. I used the jacuzzi and the pool - both have been in good conditions. The hotel has enough parking lots in front. The only thing I would have liked is complementary breakfast.

Nice hotel, located on a golf course. The hotel is in the process of being repainted on the exterior, so it isn't the best-looking hotel right now. It is covered in plastic. But it is nice. The room is a little aged... toilet paper holder is loose on wall, and the fridge is freezing everything, but considering it is LA, pretty nice.

Walls are super thin, so you make any noise; security will come telling you to quiet down. Not a Hilton security guard either. Some third company security. Room condition was okay but not great. Probably would not go there again solely because of the harassment of that guard.

Was awoken on first morning there to a painter outside, covering up the room view with plastic at a very early hour, making a ton of noise. No notice given painting or noise was going to occur early in am.
The same morning front desk didn't send housekeeping to clean my room, despite asking front desk first thing that morning to do so. Came back the next evening to a dirty room. No apologies were made. My daughter didn't know that I agreed to the housekeeper cleaning at night so she sent her away when she came. Then I was rudely told I "better" let her in this time. The housekeeper acted scared of my cat the entire time. My cat wouldn't hurt anyone.
Awoken next day to housekeeping at an early hour as well. I was placing all my personal items in a row outside of my room to bring to my vehicle that morning for check out. Housekeeping threw away my bag which I had to transfer to the inside of a regular clear bag because it broke with about $300 worth of personal belongings in it. Again, no apologies, just that they'd call after speaking to housecleaning. They called. They said if anything popped up they'd let me know.
Was noisy, when my only request at booking was a quiet room. Plus, now I'm out $300, plus the cost of the room, AND I barely got any sleep.

This place scam me for a stay i had book a weekend i have the confirmation email with the price given to me once I show up to the property front desk employee gives me a different price which is much higher which I refuse to pay which is not what we agreed on which is much higher I told him I’m not gonna stay there cause we couldn’t agree on the price. They didn’t wanna honor the email that I received which she says I wouldn’t be charged for so I leave a week later. I find out I’ve been charged even though I did not stay at the hotel. I called the hotel today, August 18 which I tell him the situation and they tell me they cannot help me with none of that. Their manager comes in on Tuesdays and they don’t think they would be able to reimburse me even though I did not stay at the hotel.

Update: I've now stayed here 8 times over the last 1.5 years. It keeps getting better and better.
I have found this location to be one of the best Hilton hotels in the LA area. It is found in the middle of a golf course, on-top of a hill. It is a perfect location to get away from the busy streets and freeways. There is ample outdoor seating both in the rear and at the pool area. There is a perfectly hot, hot tub, a great swimming pool, outdoor fire pit. The on-site restaurant does have a limited menu, but the food comes out very quickly and tastes good. Bar was good with plenty of options to drink. I didn't use the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.
The hotel room itself is very large and modern. Lots of areas to plug in your electronics. A nice open room and washroom. The sliding glass shower doors are a very nice touch. There is a giant TV with a huge variety of TV stations to choose from. The air conditioning is perfect when cooling you down from the heat wave that rolled through. The biggest complaint is the parking. If you don't get there early, you do have a walk to get to the front door. I will stay here again as soon as I can. A true diamond in the rough.

Stayed here the other night and it was a rather noisy experience.... Booked via 3rd party and received a message from the property informing me that I can use my Hilton Honors app to get my digital key...except there was no Hilton confirmation number using a 3rd party booking...||Check-in was quick and easy with a Gen Z wearing a uniform and name tag. The lobby seems to have been remodeled with the front desk now facing the front doors vs at the side. The Gen Z seemed to have been cold and opted for his own jacket as apparently the uniform doesn't include a jacket?||Parking was plentiful and continues to be free. Wifi is also complimentary. Hilton Garden Inn Montebello sits on top of a golf course under construction which makes it for a safer experience in East LA. There is also a security guard at the bottom of the hill before entering.||Since my last visit, the property seems to have undergone extensive remodeling from new carpet throughout, to new mattresses, new closets, showers, bathroom, and toilets.||Walls at the property were extremely thin. I heard people talking in the hallways, the room next to me having sex including all of their commentary, along with the dogs next door barking constantly throughout the evening. Even number rooms face the front of the property and I also enjoyed hearing people lock their vehicle with a chirp. Noise canceling headphones seemed to have resolved the issue...||The water pressure in the shower was decent and the water was hot. The shower consisted of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, along with a floor towel. The sink's water pressure was weaker, although still usable and also had some hand soap, body lotion, along with a facial bar on the counter. Towels were in good condition and on the thinner side.||The mattress was decent with a thin blanket. The HVAC was a wall mounted unit along with a wireless wall control.
