This hotel has a high turnover due to its location but they handle it really well. The hotel is well maintained, the front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff are wonderful and attentive to detail. Sleep quality is good.|There is a TGI Fridays in the hotel. The food is average at best. They burnt the over salted chicken tenders. The breakfast buffet is terrible. The range is lacking. The eggs were inedible. I saw a kid stick his finger in the yogurt, so I left and walked down the road to another hotel and got breakfast from their coffee shop. If you want something balanced and healthy, it won't be from here.|Hotel is great, restaurant is a huge miss.

This is a very well located hotel, very near the Hollywood bowl, and conveniently near from Universal Studios Park, Downtown, Hollywood and Beverly hills. The rooms are clean and recently renovated, but as in most renewed hilton proprieties, they do not invest in carpentry renewal, which is old, with a bad look, and does not works properly . Also, they do not recognize your hhonors status, neither in the perks nor in the parking (all parking is made by a valet parking, at a high rate of 45 usd per night, which is almost 20% add on your daily rate). Personnel is generally very helpful, but not all of them are like that. Also, in our 5 day stay one elevator was out of service, which made the wait too long, and extremely inconvenient in peak hours (sometime you needed to wait three elevator turn, as it came already full from top floors. This was very annoying).

Booked this last minute for 5 nights. With valet and charges for me, dogs ran around 300 per night. It was okay. Normally would not spend that for this kind of hotel but it wss an emergency.
I liked the view from the back side of the property. The front faces a six lane busy road.
My biggest complaint stems from having left a small valuable dental item in the room. It was likely thrown out but I called anyway about it twice.
First left message for housekeeping never returned. Called again, spoke to housekeeping manager who promised a reply which was never delivered.

I had an incredibly convenient stay, especially with the Hollywood Bowl so close by—it made attending the event a breeze! The valet service was outstanding, and I want to give a special shoutout to Mason, who was extremely helpful and efficient. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in town for the Bowl!

The best part of the stay was the location of the hotel. There's a TGIF restaurant on the main level of the hotel. You can enter the restaurant from inside the building without having to go outside.

The room itself is dark and the AC is far too loud and strong. There's not enough natural sunlight coming into the room. There's no body soap in the shower so you should ask room service to bring up extra bars of soap.

Lobby and rooms were nice. The pool area was clean and well stocked with towels, plenty of lounge chairs, and a few tables to sit at. There was only 1 elevator working, so there was sometimes a wait to go up or downstairs

This hotel was booked for me through the company in working for. The front desk was incredibly rude when I had an objection to a $300 deposit. They were also completely uncompromising and unhelpful with putting the $45 a day, VALET ONLY parking on my card, because I didn't think they would provide me with a receipt to submit to the company. Guess what? They didn't!
The location is close to Universal, but you'll spend at least 10-15 minutes just trying to pull out onto the road as there's just massive, nonstop traffic that's outside the hotel.
The TGI Fridays onsite has a very limited menu and tried to serve me food contaminated with my food allergen after explicitly telling them about it! And got upset when I said I wouldn't eat it because it had my food allergen in it!
I was also there to work nights. And despite having the "Please, do not disturb" sign on my door that they themselves provided, their housekeeping staff relentlessly knocked on my door MULTIPLE times while I was trying to sleep and after explicitly telling them that I did not require anything. They even went so far as to go into my room when the sign was still on there to clean. I don't know what happens in this hotel that they would require such a high deposit and outwardly aggressive housekeeping, but it's probably best to steer clear.

Overall, a good hotel and great staff. The TGIF restaurant is really nice, and the pool area is very nice, but the extremely slow elevator and the $45 daily parking put dampers on our stay. HEADS UP, there was usually a free street spot a couple blocks north on Camrose Dr, but once you get toward the top of the hill, it turns into 2-hour parking. The next best option is the Ovation Mall parking garage two blocks south for $20/day. The empty parking lots a block south at the church are used for valet companies.

The hotel is very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Jimmy Kimmel Show, The Dolby Theater, and the Chinese Theater.
