We stayed here for 8 days with my family. Deposit is & 200 which is fine but in our room there is no fridge, water bottles, microwave and kettle! Only, iron with iron board and dryer! Check-in late due to flight delays and need to eat somewhere. I asked the receptionist what time coffee machine open. She said 7-9.
2nd day, ( Tues) we're out and back about 20:30. I don't feel well. Feeling under the weather but I don't want to ruined our holiday. I just wanted a pot noodle. I went to reception and tried to push the door and it was closed. I asked the lady if I can get a hot water. She turned and said to me it's close at 8pm. I said to her that I spoken that lady herelast night she said 9pm. That lady is very rude and not even say sorry. I said to her I don't think is fair! We don't have any kettle, microwave and fridge in our room and your asking for 200 deposit and you can't give me a hot water! I got back to our room so upset. After 5 days ( Friday) when we got back, there is a fridge and microwave in our room. No words, or phone call that they will provide. they just leave in our room. Even though we put no disturb in our room. It would be nice to call us that they will provide at least we know.
After 8 days, we are ready to leave. We had a phone call to remind us that check out is 11am. My son gave the key to the reception but when he asked for deposit. Lady said it will be in this afternoon. My argument is you are very quick of asking for deposit but not quick enough to return deposit back. Only half of 200 you give. He received £86 that afternoon of 8/10/24 and he emailed you and said it was an error. My son emailed you again and you said after 5-7 days? The second half?. He still waiting for remaining balance of £64. You don't know how to look after your guests. We travelled a long hours flight and we are all very frustrated in this hotel. Kettle is more important than dryer or iron board especially if your guests travel from a long journey.

We are so disappointed with this hotel.

A lot of talk on how bad this place is I didn't experience any of. Great service at check in. Room was clean as well as the bathroom. The pool was closed. Quiet low key area of Lynnwood. Lots of places to eat around this place. It's perfect place just to stay and explore L.A. Definitely would stay here again.

The pool is closed the jacuzzi has a tarp over it.This in the middle of summer, coffee machine in the lobby is out of order no breakfast not even basic pastry also the shower had no water pressure not to mention low shower head small full bed not a queen stray cats roaming no mini fridge I called ahead to request a microwave to put in my room since that the only way you can get one I was told it would be in my room before I arrived but they lied said I didn't put in a request.Loud next to main street and freeway would not recommend $200 deposit on credit card only ice machine closes at 10pm don't know why they have a basketball hoop if the car's park right under it lol July 2024

First impression during check in, I was told there's a $200 security charge. That's half of what our 3 night stay was. I've never even had a security charge that high in Las Vegas.

Don't expect normal sized pillows. Both of our beds had these half sized pillows kind of square in shape. Like couch pillows but flat.

The bathroom door had a hole in the top corner, and rubbed all over the door frame. The door handle and striker plate on the same door are not secured and are extremely loose. You have to shove the door to get it back open.

The bathroom fan is just about dead. After 2 of us had took showers in the morning, the entire room was extremely humid, and all of our clean clothes ended up smelling moldy from the humidity. Keep in mind, this was with the bathroom door being shut.

Our room had 3 pairs of outlets you SHOULD be able to use to charge a phone or laptop. I say should, because only the outlets next to the bathroom sink worked. All others would not hold any plug in the outlet.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Sally , who I enjoyed so much, I had a mix up with my reservation at first, but Sally fixed everything and made my family and I feel like her family, loved her and now the travel lodge, if not for her quick thinking, I had decided not to ever stay at another travel lodge, because we didn’t find out about the issue until after we had traveled from Las Vegas and got in very late, I wasn’t very happy, so our Sally really saved my little vacation, with my niece and nephew .?

This is our second time staying here and I gotta say, people give this place such a bad rap for stupid reasons. Y’all are way too snobby about stuff that doesn’t matter. The rooms are clean, it’s close to LAX, they’ve got wifi and the AC/heat works great! Sure it’s not like some crazy luxurious suite, but what’d you expect? You get what you pay for. And considering how overpriced everything in LA is, I’d say this place is a pretty excellent deal all things considered. Idk about you but when I come to LA it’s because I have plans that involve me NOT being stuck in the hotel room all day so what does it really matter? Give me a clean, decently comfy bed to sleep in at night and I’m happy. If you wanna pay like $400 a night to stay at the Hilton Doubletree in little tokyo be my guest, but personally I’d rather save that money and put it towards some good food or something else while i’m here. Hotels are a necessity, not a luxury.

My only gripe with this place the first time we stayed here was that the pillows felt like they were filled with deer ankles, they were lumpy as hell. But this time around (one year later) they must’ve invested in new pillows because they were soft and squishy and felt sooo much better.

Aside from that, it’s good to note that the rooms don’t have a mini fridge or anything so if you’re planning on bringing leftovers back to your room after eating somewhere, maybe bring a cooler or something.

Other than that, travelodge lynwood rules. I’ll probably stay here every time I come to LA because it’s the only hotel that’s not ridiculously expensive.
